Questions concerning your children

When can children start to ski?
It makes sense to start to ski with 4 years. Every child can participate at our practice forenoons on Sunday and Monday.

Do you care for all children?
As we are no kindergarten, we can only care for our ski-children.

When can children start to snowboard?
For snowboard-courses it is best to start with 8 years, for private lessons earlier.

Do you offer child-care over the lunch hour?
You can book with or without child-care over the lunch hour. If you do so, children get lunch at Zardinis, at the gondola.

Can I book child-care over the lunch hour for a few days only?
Yes, it can be booked as you want to.

Is it possible to attend a course too?
Yes, it is absolutely no problem. Please inform your instructor about it and we'll bring you to your children at the end of the day.

How do you divide the children?
Advanced skiers have to drive up to our instructors and then you'll get divided into the group that fits your level. Of course we also care about your language and it's also possible to change the group.

Can our children be in the same course?
Children are divided by the skills. If they've almost the same level, it is possible.

Do you also speak dutch or english?
Yes, we have instructors from Holland and GB too and all our trainers are fluent in english.

Do my children have to wear a helmet?
We recommend to wear helmets. If you rent ski equipment for your kids at the Intersport sports-store, helmets are included for free.

When do children need ski passes?
For children born until 2007 ski passes are included.

Do you also go to restrooms with the children?
Yes, our instructors are collaborative and remind them.

FAQ - What you've always wanted to know

To I have to book in advance?
No, you don't. Only private lessons have to be booked in advance.

Where can I book?
Courses and private lessons can be booked in both of our offices. Some hotels also offer the service to book directly in their houses.

Do I have to buy the skischool-card in advance?
Yes, by the end of your first day you have to give the card to your instructor.

Can I pay by CC?
Yes. We accept all kind of creditcards, EC and cash.

Where and when do the courses start?
The division starts at 9:00 on Sunday and Monday at the Hausberg.

Where are the meeting points?
At the Hausberg, Gondola top and bottom.

How do you divide your guests?
Advanced skiers have to drive up to our instructors and then you'll get divided into the group that fits your level. Of course it's also possible to change the group.

Where does the beginners class start?
Beginners start at the Hausberg, down in the valley, next to our BOBO kids-club.

Do courses start daily?
Beginner courses start on Monday and Sunday, advanced skiers can start up to Wednesday.

How long is a course?
Scheduled courses are from 10 am - noon and from 1:15 pm to 3:15 pm (4 hours).

Can I extend the course?
You can extend every day until the end of the course.

Can I suspend a day?
As you learn new techniques each day, you'll probably have to change to a slower group.

Are courses on Saturday?
Saturday is for private lessons only.

When do I have to book private lessons?
The sooner the better, especially if you want to have the trainer of your choice. You can book personally, by e-mail or phone / fax.

What about cross-country courses?
For cross-country courses we need a minimum of 5 guests, normally they are held by private lessons.

Where can I rent a ski equipment?
You can find different kinds of ski equipment at the Intersport sports-store at the gondola.

Is ski equipment included?
No, you have to buy or rent the ski equipment by yourself.

Are ski passes included?
No, you have to buy ski passes by yourself.

Do I need a ski pass as a beginner?
For your first days a cheaper ski pass for the Hausberg is enough. Your instructor will support you by finding the right passes.
